About Us

Marque 21 was established in 2002 by proprietor Tim O'Dowd. Our aim is to provide servicing, maintenance, race preparation, restoration & parts for all Porsche models & specialist cars.

Tim formed Marque 21 passionately driven by his love of classic & historic race cars. His career began by serving a six year apprenticeship restoring classic Jaguar's, along side which he restored a Jaguar XK120 for well known Jaguar MK 11 saloon racer Rob Newall. Following this Tim spent five years with a leading specialist car manufacturer building & developing component cars. A lifelong love & passion for Porsche encouraged him to start his own business enabling him to offer a high standard of workmanship to Porsche owners.

Since Marque 21 began our workload consists primarily of servicing & maintenance for most Porsche models. This includes engine rebuilds, clutch replacement, braking system overhaul, suspension overhaul and upgrades, chassis set up and all other mechanical maintenance alongside scheduled servicing.

We have also prepared a number of cars for historic racing including Porsche 356's, several Lotus Elans and Jaguar E-Type's.
